The workpiece material quenched by induction heating surface is usually medium carbon steel.In order to meet the special needs of some workpieces, low hardenability steel for surface quenching by induction heating has been developed.Parts made of high carbon steel and cast iron can also be quenched by induction heating.Water or polymer water solutions are commonly used in quenching media.
